With the game now available on Early Access for PC through the Epic Games Store, we were able to check out the game’s current build. Unexplored 2: The Wayfarer’s Legacy is Ludomotion’s ambitious follow-up to the 2017 title Unexplored. Also look at 2 recent exclusives Evil Dead and Salt and Sacrifice, yea no one remembers because everyone is talking about V Rising.Unexplored 2: The Wayfarer’s Legacy offers a welcome twist on the action roguelike formula, and it’s interesting to see how its generated worlds evolve. Totally agree, its not a guarantee it will be an automatic top seller, nothing is ever certain, just take Godfall as the most recent example. However it just made me wonder how much of a profit Devs are genuinely making from Steam. I'm never gonna be in that "F_ck Epic" reddit lol. Gamers pick and choose when they want to be upset. I've seen some die on the spot and I've seen some become Overwhelmingly Positive top sellers. Ofcourse, but I wouldnt be naive (not these devs) expecting a warm welcome when I finally release on Steam. Plus when you release back here, since steam(and others) who does not do exclsuives when it does eventually come, its basically like a full game release. If you are given free money(millions) to just hold off on releasing everywhere, just for 12 months, wouldnt you take it? if I can recoup dev cost(possibly) and a little bank without 1 sale everyone is going to take that deal, every one. I was VERY surprised to see Darkest Dungeon 2 take an Epic Deal when they have such a huge following on Steam. :(Īnd not to sound too "tinfoil hat" but I wonder if there's more to these deals than what we're told.
